NYPL After School is a free drop-in program for kids ages 6–12 that takes place after regular school hours on Mondays through Thursdays. Join our tutors and Teen Reading Ambassadors for homework help, reading recommendations, fun writing, STEAM, and enrichment activities—and even snacks! No need to register—just show up! Everything is free.

This program will be in person at Allerton Library. Participants will be introduced to basic concepts in engineering and circuitry, while allowing them to express themselves creatively. Each participant will get to build, decorate and take home a fun, hands-on project. Our amazing teachers will then guide the students through building their own super cool robot, step-by-step. Ages 6-10. Please register in advance as space is limited. Presented by Brooklyn Robot Foundry.
