During New York Textile Month 2024, four graduate students from the University of Borås Swedish School of Textiles proudly present their innovative textile work.
This exhibition highlights the craftsmanship and knowledge required to create textiles in a digitalized world. As emerging designers, they emphasize the importance of sustainability in shaping the future of design. Their works draw inspiration from the environment, telling stories through textile techniques. Each designer incorporates sustainable practices, reflecting a deep respect for nature. They aim to positively influence the future of design through their deliberate creative choices.
The Consulate General of Sweden in New York is proud to support this exhibition in collaboration with the student artists and the New York Public Library.
