The Schomburg Center's Manuscripts, Archives, and Rare BooksArt and Artifacts,  Jean Blackwell Hutson Research and ReferenceMoving Image and Record, and Photographs and Prints Divisions are excited to be participating in the Archivist Round Table of Metropolitan New York's 2016 Archives Week. Stop by to see our timely display of materials, including documents, posters, photographs, books and audio, that illuminate the complex electoral process in the United States and across the African Diaspora. You'll be able to view archival material from our election collections, including the Anti-Apartheid South Africa Collection, Fannie Lou Hammer Papers, Student Non-Violence Coordinating Committee (SNCC), and various items related to politics and government.

The exhibition will be preceded by cocktail Happy Hour.
