About the Presenter:

Stephanie Genkin, CFP®

Stephanie Genkin, CFP® is Brooklyn-based independent fee-only CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and founder of My Financial Planner, LLC, a NY State Registered Investment Advisor. She is an adjunct instructor at NYU's School of Professional Studies and has taught classes in personal finance and investing fundamentals. She is also an adjunct instructor at Golden Gate University for an online graduate program for financial professionals teaching Facilitating Financial Health. Stephanie is also a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA®), a Certified Financial Therapist level one (CFT- l™), and a Certified Life Coach. She recently completed training in financial transitions to support divorcees and widows through challenging life transitions. Before becoming a financial advisor, Stephanie was a television news producer at CNN for 15 years.
