Art Exhibition: Véronique Coutant-Godard

Véronique Coutant-Godard is an American artist born in France, and lives currently in New York. She specializes in printmaking, exploring different techniques like linoleum cut, woodcut, lithograph and monotype.

Her focus is printmaking, specifically relief block printing. As a printmaker, she finds inspiration in nature, and from travelling overseas in Europe, Africa, and North  and South America. Her series of linocuts at the 53rd Street Library are inspired by Aesop’s Fables.
